CAMP DETAILS
In the morning, make a cute, fruity crochet drawstring pouch! We’re so excited to offer our a brand new crochet project now that the craft has become more and more popular.
In this introduction to crochet camp, you will learn the chain and single crochet stitches, the foundation of all crochet projects. Choose between peach, lemon, orrange, cherry and blueberry for your fruit pouch. So cute!
We’ll learn how to crochet a 3D shape using increases and decreases, a skill you can use to make amigurumi in the future. Make a little leaf and matching strap in the size of your choice, so you can wear it around your wrist, attach it to your backback, or sling it over your shoulder!
After making this pouch you’ll know all the fundamental basics of crochet. Some campers may have time to make multiples, or extra projects like a friendship bracelet!
In the afternoon, practice the running stitch, whip stitch, and blanket stitch as you hand sew these cute animal friends for yourself and to share with friends.
We saw how much you all loved sewing our animal friends over the past couple of years—so this summer, we’re happy to introduce new critters to the family! In this class, you’ll make a red panda, a llama, a dolphim, and a cute little bird!
Use them as small pillows and pincushions, or just because they're adorable! If we have time, make even more animals of your choice.
This is going to be so much fun!
