Are you excited to learn how to knit?

This class is perfect for beginners - no prior knitting experience necessary, but if you have experience, you’ll also learn something new!

You’ll learn the classic knit stitch or garter stitch pattern, the basic stitch of knitting used in most projects. We’ll teach you how to cast on your first row of stitches, cast off your final row, and to seam edges together - essential skills to learn for future knitting projects!

Using these skills, you’ll make the first project, a coin purse that closes with a button. We’ll also learn to decrease stitches, and make a button loop to create the flap.

In the second half of the series, you’ll learn the second basic stitch of knitting, known as the purl stitch. By alternating rows of knit stitches and purl stitches, you’ll learn to create the classic ‘V’ knitting pattern called stockinette. We will also get more practice with casting on and casting off.

Make a super cute bunny using these stitches just in time for Easter! You’ll see it’s not so hard, and before you know it, you’ll be knitting up a storm :)
