Please sign up in advance so we can prepare materials. Signups will close 48 hours before the start of class, so don’t wait if you want a spot!

All materials included. Please send a snack with your student for this 3 1/4 hour class.

Prerequisite: Stretchy Sewing and Intro to Machine Sewing

CLASS DETAILS

If you already know how to sew with stretchy fabrics, come make yourself a cute lightweight pullover hoodie!

If not, please start with the Stretchy Sewing series.

You’ll learn to use a pattern, make a lined hood in a contrast fabric, sew a zipper, add cuff bands, and set in sleeves with stretch stitches.

Have you had your eye on our super-soft, extra- special knit fabrics? This is the perfect project to use them!

Everyone loves a hoodie, and if we have time you can make it extra cute by adding cat ears (or another animal of your choice)! With kangaroo pockets, a lined hood, and set-in sleeves, this project is the ultimate challenge to test your sewing skills.
