Are you excited to make cute crochet items in the future? Decorative “granny squares” are the basis of so many large projects, from sweaters to bags to blankets.

In this intro to crochet class you will learn all the basic stitches: single, half double, double and triple crochet. With these stitches you will be able to make a granny square.

There are so many designs! We’ll start with a magic circle, and make a flower-shaped design.

Turn your granny square into a cute pouch with a button closure, or leave it as is to hang, sew onto a denim jacket, or use as a coaster!

This is going to be so fun!

After you complete this class, you’re ready for any of our more advanced crochet classes.
